Three teams accomplished what no others have up to this point: running sub-16 minutes at the Penn Relays; Villanova now holds the Penn Relays record previously held by Michigan of 16:04.54 set in 2005. Georgetown sets a new US National Record [pending approval of runners’ nationality] with their time of 15:52.56 breaking Oregon’s 2009 record of 2009 of 16:03.24. Amazingly,their were 13 racers who ran sub-4 miles in this event. Wind: 0
