THE DEADLINE TO REQUEST CREDENTIALS ONLINE IS FRIDAY, APRIL 11th.
Credential Types
There are three types of credentials available for The Penn Relays: Press, Photo and SID. When adding a “Pass Request” to your registration, please choose the credential type that best suits your assignment covering The Penn Relays.
PRESS
This credential is for working members of the print, broadcast and online media who are covering the events of The Penn Relays. Bearers of these credentials have access to Press Row inside Franklin Field in the North bleachers and the Media Work Room/Dining Room inside the Dunning Coaches Center. Press credentials DO NOT have access to either the infield competition space or all medical facilities for The Penn Relays.
PHOTO
This credential is for assigned and accredited photographers/videographers covering The Penn Relays for a news source or competing team. Freelance or unassigned photographers and videographers WILL NOT be credentialed for The Penn Relays. Bearers of this credential have access to the infield competition space for the purposes of shooting action shots of events as well as the Press Row inside Franklin Field in the North bleachers and the Media Work Room/Dining Room inside the Dunning Coaches Center. Photo credentials DO NOT have access to all medical facilities for The Penn Relays.
SID (Sports Information Directors)
This credential is for members of competing teams’ sports information offices and allows access to the infield competition space, Press Row inside Franklin Field in the North bleachers, the Media Work Room/Dining Room inside the Dunning Coaches Center, and all team warmup areas.
PLEASE NOTE: All credential requests are not guaranteed until approved by a member of the Penn Relays media relations staff. In addition, a request for a specific type of credential is not guaranteed and all determinations on credentials are up to the discretion of The Penn Relays Office.
VIDEO POLICY
A working credential is issued for the sole purpose of providing facility access for the 2025 Penn Relays Carnival to an accredited individual or agency’s employee who has legitimate working function during the event. This credential is non-transferable and must be visible at all times throughout the event. Any unauthorized use of this credential or sale of this credential subjects the bearer to ejection from the facility and prosecution for criminal trespassing. Acceptance of this credential constitutes by bearer and organization to abide by the foregoing conditions.
Video or audio recordings of the 2025 Penn Relay Carnival may not be reproduced for commercial purposes or posted online for mass distribution without the express written consent of The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania and FloTrack. The Holder of this working credential agrees to adhere to the conditions for telecast or Internet purposes outlined by FloTrack, which will also be posted in the media work room. More on the conditions coming soon.
PHOTOGRAPHERS/REPORTERS
Only requests submitted through the online registration system will be considered. No mail, fax, phone or e-mail requests will be entertained. If you are interested in obtaining a credential and have questions contact

Credentials will not be issued to anyone under 19 years of age.
No credentials will be distributed until the beginning of the Relays on April
24th. Anyone
attending the multi events on Wednesday should specify in the comment box on the
registration site.
No media credentials will be mailed.
DO NOT GO TO THE TICKET OFFICE AT FRANKLIN FIELD OR THE PALESTRA.
The Main Media Room for the Relays will be The Board Room in the Dunning Coaches’ Center.
