The mile championship was a big running pack for the first 1/2 mile, led by Thomas Isenovski (Saratoga Springs, NY). The field began to spread out, and Robert Leonard (West Potomac, VA) led the field at the bell lap. After the bell was run, Ben Andrus (Haddonfield Memorial, NJ) sped to the lead and tries to break the field. With 200m to go, Ben was passed by Liam Luff (Trinity School, NY). Liam led through the final curve, where he was passed by Joseph Murphy (Hershey, PA) as they entered the final stretch. With 10m to go, Jon Nathan Lawrence (Covenant, VA) passed Joseph on the outside and claimed the win.
